Move clear evidence of the systemic plan to undermine both the efficient functioning of essential government functions and vital scientific innovation. Crippling #NIH hurt taxpayers and cruelly harms people facing #Alzheimers, #cancer, #heartdisease, #diabetes, #autism, #mentalhealth disorders, etc.

🧪 #publichealth Newly funded NIH grants = new job offers. Renewed grants = jobs retained. Musk has paralyzed NIH funding. NIA council recommends funding for grants, meets 3x/year. The January meeting was cancelled and has not been rescheduled. Red state people please call, email your reps/senators.

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.
