This is Bizu. She's our first true companion cat and we've had her 18 wonderful years. Tomorrow we have to say goodbye, two weeks to the day that we lost Willie. Our pets are part of what makes our home our sanctuary in hard times and I'm so grateful for that. 🥲

I didn't think I'll be attending #GDC this year. As much as I love seeing friends and colleagues, I just don't think this is a good year to go. I feel bad for the new generation of game devs who want to attend knowing how the experience has declined in the past decade or more.

This is Willie. He's goofy and mischievous and delightful and loves making new friends. We found out he has cancer and tomorrow we have to say goodbye. The world will be a little darker for me and I'll miss him dearly. He just showed up one day years ago and I am so grateful he picked us.
