I can take a photo or video from WhatsApp Web on #librem5 using #pipewire on top of #libcamera with software IPA. The funny part is that I can't, yet, doi the same thing with native WhatsApp on #WayDroid.

Bassel Safadi was a Palestinian-Syrian open source software developer (and an acquaintance of mine through Global Voices). He was arrested in 2012 and then executed by the Assad regime in 2015. We only found out in 2017 when the regime updated death records and his name was on it.
