My husband I were delighted to help serve the suits for all the world to see. Onward to victory … for Amanda and all librarians who have been trolled by this fannypack-wearing weirdo over the last 20+ years!

So excited to be at NJEA Convention! Have been coming down for a few years and just learned I can get an eye exam, for which I am really overdue. And bonus - it’s next to the goat yoga 🐐 #njasl #njea24

Derrick Barnes talking about his family and writing “books that nobody wanted” @njasl.bsky.social #NJASL2023

Incredible panel of authors sharing their thoughts & insights at the Authors Luncheon! #NJASL23 Derrick Barnes, Ellen Oh, Daniel Nayeri, and Chaz Hayden, moderated by our own Amy G.!

After Ellen Oh shared abt meeting a student of color who thought writing was only for white ppl, Chaz Hayden reminded us, "Students see author's names but don't know what those people look like. It's super important that [school librarians] show students what authors look like."
