Oh well, there goes the last bit of joy from the season. Just the depressing slide to relegation now. #saintsfc

Getting fed up of pundits etc praising #Saintsfc and aspects of our play after yet another defeat. All of our keepers should be instructed not to seek to play out into the central midfield area on the ground. Invites trouble and is stupid not brave. Not hard to grasp.

In an exercise at straw clutching, Fernandes again very impressive. Is already some player and continuing to get better. Our most creative player. #Saintsfc

This little lady is the most stunning spider I've ever seen. She's an orbweaver, which means she makes the circular web that most people associate with spiders. There is not much info on the species, it was first described in 1895. #Arachtober (Xylethrus superbus) Cuyabeno Reserve, Ecuador

Sunak actively campaigning for Labour now:

Ah the anniversary of the Brexit vote. And hasn’t it been tremendous. A whirlwind of lies, prejudice, division, isolation, red tape, costs, queues, dismal lawmaking, filthy water, loss of rights, debased sovereignty, mythical control, economic vandalism and political idiocy.

On this day in 1945: VE Day celebrations on Cliffe Avenue, Hamble. My granddad, Terry, is sat at the table. During the war, his mum, dad, and granddad all worked at the Folland Aircraft factory at the end of the road. Note the lads with somewhat cheeky ‘V for Victory’ salute...

On this day in 1976, the victorious Saints squad paraded the FA Cup on a triumphant procession through the streets of Southampton. The Daily Mirror estimated that around 175,000 people came out across the city to welcome home their heroes. 📸: BBC

The BBC commits grave breaches of its own impartiality rules every day, letting dark-money junktanks pose as objective sources, rather than the corporate lobbyists they are. This bias doesn't favour the left. It favours the right. "BBC leftwing bias" is a complete invention.
