Make sure to say that you are their constituent. They all have staff who tally this stuff up.

Tell your elected officials how important the rule of law is. Tell them to protect trans people. Tell them to protect the ACA.

Scalzi books I always recommend to folks who like sci-fi, but need a breather from 500+ page bricks. He also adds a lot of humor to his books (at least the ones I'm familiar with) which is also refreshing.

I assume some of the shine will go away... BUT, to have narcolepsy, in the winter, in a new work environment where I'm learning new things constantly and somehow not immediately falling asleep as soon as I get home?? Insane.

Apparently I've just been gaslighting myself for years that I enjoy a chaotic work environment where I can only work on a task for about 5 minutes or less before being pulled away to something else.

Honorable mention: The Wonder Meow. Aliens have alighted upon earth and only this feline seems to understand the danger. Reflections of light off "mobile phones" and the once seen but never again laser pointer. Sounds like mEeRIOOOW (We don't use the laser pointer)

1. The Doorbell: Similar in tone to the chirp, this announcement like meow is the most common. Proudly proclaimed upon entrance into a once shut room to rescue a human, given in approval with the unveiling of wet food, and just when in a good mood and walking up to someone. BRIEEOOOW.

2. The Classic "Chirp": One of the more rare sounds, experts expect to hear more of this calls come spring, as they most reliable are expressed upon sight of a bird or squirrel out of the window.

3. Desperate meows: Most commonly uttered when shut out of a room. Sounds like "OH GOD ARE YOU DYING IN THERE WHAT IS GOING ON I WILL DIG TO YOU."

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue! Magical realism, romantic, tragic, one of my favorite books of ALL time. The main character is gifted with immortalality, yet cursed that anyone forgets her as soon as she is out of their eye line. Great inspo for a game, imo.
