A bent derailer hanger will cause shifting issues & premature chain wear. Causes can be from a fall, crash or dropping the bicycle. Never lay down the bicycle on the drive side. Derailer hangers that are separate parts from the frame are designed to break if bent to far. Buy extra hangers #bicycle

Having trouble finding a 27 inch tube for that vintage bicycle with 27" tires? You can use a 700c tube with the correct width range. You cannot use a 700c tire on a 27 inch rim. Your better off finding a 27 inch tire online than in stock at the bike shop. Vintage never dies #bikesky #bicycle

Squeeze brake levers evenly & not overly tight. Your right brake lever (controls rear brake) should be slightly tighter or take less movement to engage brake. The brake levers can be even in tension just be aware of how you brake. Hydraulic brakes will be even. #bicycle #bikesky Located in Denver CO
