A beautifully decorated 15th-century sedilia at Kilcooly Abbey in Co.Tipperary. It originally featured a wooden seat where the presiding abbot or priest would sit during Mass. In 1182, Donal Mor O’Brien donated land to the Cistercians for the Abbeys construction on the Tipperary Kilkenny border.
