When the cost of having a pet meant that you had to buy health insurance for it.. that's when I stopped having a dog. There are many sheltered animals that would be better off in a home. Some of us just can't afford it anymore. That's sad. I'd take a senior animal into my home.

I lived near Atlantic City New Jersey where Donald Trump bankrupted how many casinos? I also knew tradesmen, contractors, hard working people that he stiffed. I was a doctor and some of these people were my patients. Is this country too big to bankrupt or is it already bankrupt?
