As cheesy as it is, TikTok has made me a better cook, taught me about new concepts, ideas and endless fun facts, and genuinely increased my empathy towards my fellow man. Where do I go now? There is no other social media that really does that effectively. Most seems focused on the opposite. Le sigh

If we’re being honest, some of y’all do behave in completely unacceptable ways in online spaces. The number of times I look at an attractive fat person’s content only to find a bunch of weird gainer-esque comments when the person clearly isn’t part of the community, is mind boggling. It’s constant.
