People gleefully treated George Lucas like absolute garbage from 1997 to 2012, and they only stopped doing it when a powerful woman became his successor. A successor he chose, mind you. Culture war revisionism over Star Wars is insane. No, the prequels were NOT beloved entries when they came out. The actors for Anakin and Jar-Jar got harassed by deranged fans over their roles. Not only that, people were begging Lucas to sell the franchise b/c they felt it was creatively stagnant.

I haven’t read any Star Wars EU so can’t vouch for her character. But look at Mara Jade. Look at her… Super hot, Emperor’s Hand, Luke just so happens to marry her.. C’mon. She looks and sounds like an insert character.

My biggest unpopular Jurassic opinion is I'm not the biggest fan of Ian Malcolm. He worked in the original film but in none of the films since. Pretentious character. Also Goldblum just feels like he's playing himself now.

Encouraging a fellow student. I got threatened with being sent to the Principal’s office. I said ‘Come on, you can do it’. Granted she had an intellectual disability but I thought the response was extreme.
