The confluence of Latah Creek and the Spokane River. Clear water mixing with silty waters from farm runoff upstream. It later promotes algae bloom down stream in slack waters of reservoirs behind dams as the Spokane flows towards the Columbia River. The brown streak hugs the bank for miles.
