True Blood really expects me to tell all these identical slender women apart, doesn't it?

Hozier is Father John Misty for normies

The existence of Smashburger implies the existence of Passburger.

On vacation and I both miss my cats and am dreading them being absolutely insufferable when I get home.

There are three queens in this season of Drag Race who look identical out of drag

I really wish Illustrator would get out of my way. I turned off all the snap options and it is still snapping back to random points. And it turned back on automatic tool tips! I hate it.

One of if my least favorite genre of posts is where a poster conflates different strands of social media into a single person and then points out a contradiction. If course there's a contradiction! Different people are posting different opinions

I'm my opinion, if you couldn't book David Hyde Pierce for your Frasier revival, you should have thought long and hard about making a Frasier revival at all.

Went to the new Meow Wolf in Houston the other night. Really cool, but kind of lacked the full chaos energy that the other locations I've visited had. It was designed to have event and bar space in the museum area itself - smart for diversifying revenue, but does make the architecture recognizable.

The more I sit with it, the more I appreciate Malor on Lower Decks. It's so nice to have a Klingon who is very much embedded within Klingon culture who is also practical and laid back enough to not really bother with "glory" or "honor".

This is Shepherd's pie and it is my favorite meal on the Citadel.

TBH I was a little disappointed Lower Decks didn't have more resolution about the cosmic koala. On the other hand, that would likely need more Badgey, so I should just count my blessings.

Sitting in the bed, folding socks. I sigh heavily. Wife: What's wrong. Me: Nothing. Just listening to a conspiracy podcast. Wife: Say no more.

There's a lot of things to blame the Democrats for in regards to Trump's return to power, but I don't think there would be a material difference if Kamala Harris looked pouty and petulant while certifying the results of the election.

In the third season, Hannibal reveals himself to be a messy bitch who lives for drama

There are things you become so accustomed to that you just didn't notice them. But now I know that the previously ever present morphing light show when I close my eyes means I have or will shortly have a migraine.

Finally had a chance to watch the series finale of Lower Decks. It was a very satisfying conclusion. Something the show always did well was emphasize the teamwork and contributions of the whole crew, and the finale definitely leaned into its strengths.

Reddit has begun to give me notifications for posts in subreddits I'm not subscribed to. I don't even want push notifications for communities I've joined.

YOU GOTTA HAWK TUAH AND CASH IN ON THAT THANG

All jokes aside it's really fucked up to see so many people on here celebrating murder. No one here is the judge of who deserves to live or die. That's the job of the AI algorithm the insurance company designed to maximise profits on your health and no one else

Only Beverly Katz stays dead in Hannibal, apparently

In Thomas Harris's books, serial killers are celebrities people, including the investigators, follow vicariously. Hannibal the Cannibal, the Miniseries Shrike, Toothe Fairy/Red Dragon. All brand names. In Hannibal, they're artists. Will Graham is less a profiler than a critic.

Watched Moana for the first time over the holiday weekend. Good movie, but it really suffered from The Rock not being an experienced voice actor or singer.

This year's Til Death Do Us Blart was really strong. Great vibes for the entire run time. Almost makes me want to actually watch Paul Blart Mall Cop 2, which I know is not the goal.

y’all are too quick omg 😂😂😂

I would love to see the analytics on Hulu's "choose the ad you watch," thing. I'm guessing over 95% just choose the first one, if they choose at all.

Awww yeah, Angry Santa Elf is on Bluesky

Been watching True Blood with my wife. Didn't watch it when it was new. My (maybe controversial) take is that it's better when Bon Temps is a true backwater, affected by the greater world, not the hinge of its destiny.
