We are often asked for evidence that people ride bikes outside downtown Ottawa, and in winter. This person was riding at Greenbank and Hunt Club. It was at least -10C. And yes, photo was taken from a car, because cyclists are often drivers too. ottbike

The Cambridge Street “woonerf” in Ottawa dates back to the 1990s (I believe). It’s designed to slow down car traffic on this residential street. It’s a shame Ottawa and other cities haven’t experimented with designs like this more over the past few decades!
