Saddened to learn of the death of Mark Peploe, Oscar-winning screenwriter of Bertolucci's THE LAST EMPEROR, SHELTERING SKY, LITTLE BUDDHA, and Antonioni's THE PASSENGER. Anyone who knows me knows these are some of my favorite films. Rest in peace.
