I was really looking forward to attending my first in-person WorldCon this year, but my anticipation has been all but completely quashed by their response (or lack) around COVID policy & accessibility issues, and that was BEFORE the AI panelist vetting debacle. I'm seriously debating my attendance.

We joke about the bookstore having a ghost because the train going past can occasionally rattle books off shelves. HOWEVER, I was in the back room pulling invoices and I swear to dog I heard someone humming along to the store radio, but there was no one else here.

If you're a publisher sales rep or sales/marketing person who writes Edelweiss mark-up notes, you may want to *not* reference Amazon or Amazon products in the notes you're pushing out to indie buyers (and probably not B&N buyers, either). Just a thought.
