I am pleased to announce that funding for the LDRA was approved today. The funding has been doubled from $50,000 per year to $100,000 for the next five years. This will funding is for our local rink Sackville Arena to do some necessary upgrades and provide ice time to the community.

Started my day at City Hall and attended my first HRM Levy 2025 hosted by Mayor Andy Fillmore and all 16 Councillors. Great turnout and shook hundreds of hands as we rang in 2025. Then RCL Calais Branch 162 NYE levy in Lower Sackville to a full house and ended the day at Beaverbankkinsac Lions Club.
