Favorite Album #81: Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine (1998) I could’ve gone w/Great Divide or Trip Shakespeare’s 1st or 2nd LP but today I’m FSF. It’s a shame nü metal’s advance on commercial alt rock radio relegated bands like Semisonic. These 3 guys made a lot of great 21st century music.

Favorite Album #82: John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band (1970) I was 12 when JL was shot. The next Sunday KWK aired a special 9p-midnight. I spent my allowance on K-Mart 8-tracks to tape it. My deck had auto stop & I fell asleep after 2nd tape insert. What an impact hearing Mother, etc for the 1st time
