I’ve been talking to my mom about transferring her monthly donation to the Dems over to the Trans Lifeline - the only crisis hotline for Trans folks (I don’t have any money otherwise I’d do it myself) Here’s a thread of other places you can donate - political orgs are especially important right now

I’m heartened that people are offended but this. At this same time I wish folks would extend their understanding of the damage this word does to other ableist words in their vocabulary, which are frankly equally offensive (like moron and any word that uses intelligence as an insult.)
