Are there any tools or techniques #gamedev s use to organize their assets? I have tons of various sound files, sprites, etc floating around my file system but don't have a way to search through them

Took a bit of effort to get here but the vacuum gadget can now suck up and spit out enemies. Fun little combat mix up #IndieGameDev #GodotEngine #ScreenshotSaturday

Added some particle effects to the vacuum gadget to show how it sucks and blows enemies (not like that perv) #GameDev

Vacuuming up some gems with the new vacuum gadget #GameDev #GodotEngine

Vacuum gadget development continues! I'm enjoying the push/pull effect on the enemies. Melee enemies can be kept away while flying ones can be brought in closer. Still need to work on the visuals for the effect though... #indiegamedev

Just finished tinkering with a new gadget - a vacuum! It sucks up gems you can use to purchase upgrades and can also blow them (and later enemies) away! #indiegamedev #gamedev

Been stress testing the charge shot with homing + bouncing bullets in Neon Blitz. Maybe a tad OP? #screenshotsaturday

Spent a good chunk of time tweaking bounce and homing on the bullets. It's a bit ridiculous how much damage they do now. >:] #IndieGameDev

Made a nice little hex-grid screen transition for Neon Blitz. Happy with it! #GodotEngine #GameDev

Sometimes the best visuals are the ones you don't plan. This raycast visualization popped up while working the homing projectiles for Neon Blitz. Pretty cool, huh? #IndieGameDev

🚨BREAKING: Following in the footsteps of Nintendo and Microsoft, I too have an announcement. I, as a first-time #indiegamedev, will _not_ be charging $80 for my game. I’ll take no further questions.

Woo! Neon Blitz just crept past 100 wishlists on Steam. :p Feels a little surreal! Thanks everyone! #indiegamedev

Tech tree got a little more complicated today. Added exclusive upgrades - gotta make those choices tough! :D #indiegamedev #godotengine

Added a simple splash screen. It's kind of amazing how little things like this make the game feel so much more polished #gamedev #indiedev

Added controller support and input rebinding to Neon Blitz this past week! Shoutout to the great G.U.I.D.E add-on from Godotneers which has made this process much easier! github.com/godotneers/G... #GodotEngine

I've been getting ready for play-testing of Neon Blitz which has meant going through and adding small stuff like this too-expensive animation to help improve UI clarity #GameDev

As a first time indie dev, it's pretty surreal to be able to actually launch my game through steam #GameDev #IndieDev

After getting your feedback, I decided to go with the modal version of the game over screen for Neon Blitz! Appreciate your help! #gamedev

#GodotEngine makes adding clean, well-formatted patch notes a breeze. So nice to have.

Been working on the title screen for Neon Blitz—got the intro animation looking slick! Still tweaking the timing, but I’m loving the vibe so far. #GameDev #GodotEngine

Hey #PitchYaGame !⚡ Neon Blitz is a sci-fi arena shooter where you survive against relentless enemy waves in an electrified battlefield! 🔫 Upgrade and combine powerful weapons 🛡️ Adapt to escalating chaos 💥 Unleash devastating firepower Closed Beta coming soon!👇 steam.pm/app/2779420

#gamedev #indiedev Hmm, trying to create the game over screen for my game and can't decide which I like better... What do you think? The full screen overlay or the modal pop-up?

I've also been creating a tech tree system to display upgrades in Neon Blitz! Still a WIP but I'm quite happy with the way it's turning out! #gamedev #GodotEngine

My first time designing and animating an enemy from scratch! Can you spot the inspiration? #gamedev

Figured it's time to get this Bsky profile a bit more filled out. Which means it's time to show off the new UI and art direction I've been working on for Neon Blitz!
