As a messy writer, stats like this are useful for keeping me on track, especially when editing. I used to write massive walls of text that put some test readers off, one going so far as to say it was exhausting to have no breaks in the narrative. Below 5k in docs is my benchmark. #Skywriters

One of the greatest joys of working in a cafe? When someone walks in and gives you their Starbucks order. "I'm sorry we don't serve that. Would you like to order from the menu?" The looks they give are priceless. Confusion, impatience and scorn all in one. *Chefs kiss* Perfection.

I'm now 17 months on from getting 1/2 my liver removed to cut out a grapefruit-sized tumor. Been getting all clear reports since, but I get very twitchy around check up time... i.e. around now. #fuckcancer

Today, I got to enjoy the sunshine for 20 minutes before going to work in a windowless restaurant. Here is a tip: MUZZLE YOUR CHILDREN! Or at the very least teach them that food is supposed to go INTO their mouths. Thanks.

Every get one of those emails that looks like spam because it mentions a delivery from a source you don't recognise for a parcel you don't recall. Well, I got one. And its actually legit. Not asking for my address or details because they already have them. Its a delivery notice!
