Not the worst part, but none of these project budgets seem like a lot of money for the kinds of activities they're talking about, especially once you factor in travel, salaries, overhead, etc. Medium and large organizations, public and private, deal with sums like this all the time.

I think this explains some amount of pro-Trump sentiment. The world, and even just the USA, is ridiculously complex and everybody has to make sense of it through simplified abstractions. Trump says those complexities are fake, talking about them is gay, and any consequences are someone else's fault.

Here's a casual observation: if you engage in violence-adjacent activities as either your job or a hobby, say as a bouncer or boxer or fencer or football player, you can stand up to these people. They are mostly cowards who are insecure about their safe and comfortable lives.

If the Trump administration is going to betray the Atlantic Charter and divide up Ukraine with Russia, then such NATO members as remain true to it should occupy Kaliningrad. Russia can have it back once a satisfactory agreement over their Western borders is reached.

Possible future where Elon Musk is undisputed ruler of America, except he can't get rid of RFK jr. for some reason. RFK keeps coming up with Looney Toons-tier plots to trick Musk into getting onto the bus to Wellness Camp, and Musk is so far down the K-hole that he nearly falls for every single one.
