The Crested Caracara has to be one of my favourites birds of prey so far in Costa Rica. I managed to get myself down low to create a nice diffused foreground and background allowing me to concentrate the bird as the focal point. ican eagle. #birds

A rather exciting encounter today - the first Water Rail I have ever seen in #EppingForest. Not rare, but extremely secretive and not often seen. Light was poor and they look better out of the water, but I'll take it! #UKbirding
