I got that Seahawks optimism that comes during the draft, all fresh starts and what-not....and then Mariners are serving up a delicious and ridiculous game. It's a good night.

This week I lost a loved family member. She was wise, wonderful, and quick witted. She made it to 92, sharp until the last day. She led a life I truly admired. No matter how much you prepare, you are never really ready to say good bye.
