Got a book on 趙之謙 and 徐三庚 seal works. My favorites when it comes to red on white seal design (as opposed to white characters on red background). Went a little hog wild with the book purchases this month but I think I can be content with these for a while.

Testing calligraphy ink staining on my walnut seal material. From the left, no stain, black ink stain, black ink and cinnabar ink mixed to various degrees, and on the right pure cinnabar ink stain. Next experiment is to try some shellac on top. #woodworking
