I would likely be dead soon. That's the reality of being disabled. Some people don't survive disasters. I don't know what part of that is hard to understand. I hope the people in your community you're organizing with don't have vulnerable needs because you don't seem to care.

Youre right, I'm gonna quit my job, lose my medication, walk legally blind 60 miles down the highway in winter, go alone on a bus and then choose between the homeless shelter that will accept me if I detransition or the one where I face the LGBT communities highest chance of rape. Thanks!

It's also so cruel to assume that is the only way one can do anything. I do what I can, I make calls, I donate what I can, I'm visibly trans and proud about it in my community. I WANT to do more, we don't enjoy feeling helpless. But the reality of the world is some people cannot do everything asked.

My family all left me when I transitioned and my neighbors fly trump flags. Im disabled and trans in rural America with no public transport and insurance tied to my job I'm desperate to know how quitting and dying is gonna help.

You know as well as anyone else that Marsha is the only name routinely attached to the story. "A black trans woman threw the first brick" is not a provable historical fact. "Trans women of color played a vital role in the Stonewall riots" is.

People say all the time all over the internet and in LGBT meetings and gatherings that it was Marsha. Every June I see dozens and dozens of posts on social media naming Marsha specifically despite her denying that it was her. So yes people do say it was Marsha.

I have a pride flag up in my department of the store I work at. A few weeks ago a mom came up to tell me her LGBT child loves to come in with her to see that flag. I'm keeping that fucker up. If it helps anyone in my conservative town feel better, it stays.
