Put up or shut up time for the Supreme Court

With these posts, they’ve made it essentially inarguable that they’re deliberately defying the Supreme Court.

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything, Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT. ~ All of Us

Why does this echidna look like he’s about to drop the hottest jazz piano album OF THE YEAR

I've seen the mini-series V (The Visitors) more times than I can count. While it is silly in many ways, it also gives a really detailed look into how fascism can take over from within. The propaganda stunt they just pulled with Kilmar reminds me of the kind of media manipulation the Visitors did.

American automakers are cooked. We're going to see the complete collapse of the auto industry in the US in the next decade. fortune.com/2025/04/16/x...

I think the most frustrating part about all of this is that none of the people responsible for ripping our country's institutions apart, hacking our systems, and illegally accessing and sharing data will suffer any sort of consequences for their actions.

There’s just so much shady shit in this story, but this really sticks out. Folks in NLRB’s IT unit were so freaked out by what they saw DOGE doing that they wanted to notify the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Then this happened:

My partner got weirded out by how much my new calathea plant wiggles during the day, so of course I had to capture an 11 hour timelapse of it wiggling.

I've had multiple people bring up the video that is the topic of this debunk when talking about EVs and how they're "terrible for the environment". Sharing this so you can share it next time people clutch pearls and breathlessly gasp about nickel mining youtu.be/45fiopwHVeM?...

As someone who got to know a LOT of so-called conservative legal intellectuals, there are a bunch of people who claimed that they were just against tyranny and big government who are extremely silent in the moment.

We traded Europe for a guy that builds concentration camps for profit.

Nearly 300,000 new electric vehicles (EVs) were sold in the first quarter of 2025 in the US, an increase of 11.4% year over year. Despite many obstacles — and what you may read elsewhere — electric-vehicle sales continue to grow at a healthy pace. GM/Hyundai made the most gains this quarter.

I love when people think they can say low-key bigoted shit if they're being leftist about it. I see this in particular with ableism and fatphobia.

How shocking that the white supremacist in the White House would want to destroy something teaching about the actual history of Black people in America. /s www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...

One of the most frustrating things about Public DC fast charging is that few people follow etiquette regarding the charger they use. Uber Chevy Bolt drivers always plug into the 350kw charger and sit for an hour charging to 100% at 30kw while there are other 100kw chargers free.

The EU to drop tariffs on Chinese EVs. Trump is the best trade negotiator China ever had.

new report says that new EV batteries degrade by an average of 1.8% per year - less than earlier batteries thedriven.io/2025/04/10/e...

the funniest part of this video is when the ICE officer realizes she's pointing her gun directly at his head and quietly readjusts a step backwards.

It's really hard not to be completely hopeless right now. I simply don't see any future where 50% of the electorate isn't steeped in hate and living in an alternative reality.

The credibility of the US government is completely shot. Gone. Annihilated. Nobody anywhere in the world can believe a single word that comes out of this Administration. Ever.

I'm watching the first episode of the new season of Handmaid's Tale, and I'm finding it really hard to watch. The collective trauma of just... everything.

At a certain point there's an argument for Canada just saying, eff it, 100% tariffs on all US goods and services until Trump resigns or is removed It would honestly *add* certainty to the current economic environment

I've never really been a Dr Who fan, but I'm aware of it. I can't be the only person that thinks these light poles look like Daleks right? #milwaukee
