Very left of center. Have husband and cats. Had kids, but they got out. Knew I should have had them chipped. Left that other place when NepoBaby bought it. Writes and takes photographs. Deals with stress by cooking and baking bread. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The point of terrorism is to terrify, & universities are terrified that they will be & are unable to fulfill their mandate to educate and in many cases do vital research. My husband is an admin at a university, shared this with me. What university presidents are saying. mailchi.mp/1658fd8585c2...

The Jewish holiday of Passover begins tonight at sundown. If you observe, Happy Pesach to you and yours! If it's not your holiday, or you're just not feeling it this year, it's a great time to remind you that it's an observance of liberation from oppression. Resist Felon47 and Happy Holiday to all.

Happy #Caturday! If I fits, I sits.

www.democracydocket.com/analysis/the... Having passed congress, it goes to the senate for a vote. Have you called your senators yet?

Don’t just rely on the ACLU. Call your senators.

Under the SAVE act, you need a passport or birth certificate in your legal name to vote in federal elections. If you've changed your name, as 80% of women do on marriage, you'd need a passport in your married name. They cost $165, expensive. If ID is required to vote, it should be free or nearly so.

It's not just married women. It's people who've changed their name for any reason. It's older people who haven't seen their birth certificates since college enrollment. It's anyone who can't afford $165 for a passport. It's anyone who moves and needs to register. It's a voter suppression bill.

The SAVE act has passed congress. It is voter suppression. 4 Dems voted yes with GOP. Next, it goes to the senate; call your senators and tell them to vote NO. The four democrats are: Ed Case of Hawaii Henry Cuellar of Texas Jared Golden of Maine Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington (state)
