New Sport - who dis? Milly got to try barn hunt yesterday. She is a slow/methodical worker who has great accuracy but obviously uses sniffing to regulate herself as much as hunt. It will be fun to learn something new together.

The 1925 Serum Run was a relay and the longest portion was less than 100 miles. I demand a historically accurate race where the only way to enter is to put together a group of 20 mushers for a single "team." And at least one hand off has to happen somewhere unmarked on the trail for accuracy.

I'm pretty stoked to see a large cross-section of dogbook making the migration to BlueSky 🤙 While I won't be completely deactivating in 'the bad place' as I want to be able to leave local businesses positive reviews, that platform will no longer get our content. Which is pretty cute so their loss.

That's a wrap - ECX 2025 complete. This was our second time doing the 31 miler. Great trail, incredible race organization, and fantastic vet team. We have dogs retiring so probably won't be back for a while unless we borrow some dogs. Until next time, Joseph! We love this community and race so much.

Due to a course change that required different distance intervals than we trained for, we made the hard decision to switch to the 31 miler today. This year has not offered consistent snow in Oregon for training and we want the dogs to stay happy and healthy.
