Turns out that I can't trust myself to do anything safely atm. I keep going dizzy now and I have had two separate instances of temporary deafness today. So I'm using my hot water bottle as a pillow to ease my headache!

When I saw my cat after getting home, he screamed at me all the way upstairs, then very gently booped his nose against mine, and gave me a very gentle headbonk, just smushed his cheek against mine super gently for the very first time. He's too usually excitable to be so gentle, this feels special 😂🩷

Got messages from my mum last night regarding her elderly cat (15yo, pictured). Since my kitten came into his life, Gil has lost a lot of weight. He had a little health crisis this last week, so he's been away from the other cats. He's gained weight again! He's still deaf, but he's chunky and deaf!
