Not disagreeing with your assessment that Musk is evil but his attempted meddling did nothing in this election. The AfD has been at 20% in polls since the old coalition fell apart the day after the american election. All of his talking has moved the needle exactly 0%.

That's the correct party coloration. The SPD is red and Die Linke has this more pinkish red. This is also the reason why a potential - though unlikely - coalition with Die Grünen is called "Red-Red-Green"

Fine. Just know that despite your earlier claims I never had a FB account. Nor Insta. I think Zuckerberg is just as bad, showing his spinelessness with the recent changes to endanger LGBTQ people on his platforms. I'm just thinking about how to get rid of the spiritual successors of mustache man.

What do you think these platitudes will accomplish? I know that America has become an oligarchy ruled by rich people who buy politicians. Musk for example has been vocal about supporting the AfD. That's where the money is. And? TikTok might not be the biggest fish here, but it's part of the problem.

No? We have data that clearly shows young people are becoming increasingly right-wing in Germany and that the AfD has a massive presence on the platform because they know that they can indoctrinate people there using the algorithm.

TikTok's algorithm is radicalizing people in Europe as we speak. It is not an open town square for people to form a community. It's a one way ticket to getting fascist parties elected.

Idk. TikTok dying for good seems like a net positive to me. Why would it be bad?

Damn. Sometimes it’s really just one of those weeks. A coworker of mine also just tore one of her her ligaments. Hope you‘ll feel better soon!

*sigh* I was waiting for seven years and now it looks like I may need to spend money 😵‍💫

Compassion and respect need to be part of that curriculum. They alone shape a person’s sense of personal freedom to be positive.

They have successfully convinced a solid 5th to 3rd of the population that there is no such thing as an objective, agreed upon truth anymore. It’s disheartening. Is there such a thing as coming back from this?

No surprises here.

"My wife got carried away" and the Xylophone mallet are hilarious.

And if one of those items was a gift that can tell the reader something about the character‘s relationships. It opens up so many possibilities!

AI currently only makes the life of creatives miserable because the world believes true inspiration to be replacable. It isn‘t. You may come back to this conversation when AI is, what we all want and envision it to be: Jarvis - an actual tool to manage menial tasks and make life easier.

Is it just me or does she sound almost disinterested in the death of her spouse? Just saying, if my husband was receiving threats I would be very knowledgeable as to their nature. Guess she has her future settled.

I'm just glad that the writers refrained from character assassination of my Sweet Boy Who Can Do No Wrong™. Though I'm not fond of his new face we're getting. The staff design is 11/10 though.

So technically we could just get rid of money alltogether and come up with a system of distribution for goods. In a perfect world. In our world we can't even distribute the food we have to satisfy all humans on the planet. And that is an issue noone in the political spectrum can solve. Alas.

Ultimately money is nothing but a bottle neck for /if/ and /when/ one is allowed to consume an item. Because if everyone had the resources to build a house right now, everything would crash since there isn't enough land, resources and manpower to satisfy that demand for everyone at the same time.
comment in response to post
And I'm using the word consumption here very broadly. That shirt you're wearing? Consumption. It might last you 3 years before it's done. A house? That's for many the most expensive item they will ever consume and it can last for an entire lifetime.

The soft proof is already there in the 2% inflation goal. Everyone knows that the economy stagnates at 0% or even deflation but right wing politicians keep making a case against raising min. wages and therefore bar an increasing amount of people from: *drumroll* consumption.

Aye. I think it's telling that people always assume the worst. Fascinatingly the biggest advancements in science and technology were made by people who could indulge in messing around because they came from wealthy families and didn't have to do any draining labor. Funny how that works!

That's why what John Oliver said is so poignant: "If what you want is a centrist campaign that is quiet on trans issues, tough on the border, distances itself from Palestinians, talks a lot about Law and Order and reaches out to moderate Republicans - that candidate existed and SHE JUST LOST."

It’s a mindset that hurts everyone just by /being/ in this world. Oh you can‘t do something even though you tried? Well, you didn‘t try hard enough. Guess you‘re that much of a loser. It also encourages people to be presumptuous about things they know nothing about. It‘s destilled Dunning-Kruger.
