Xros Wars is doing rounds on DigiTwt, so I wanna share my thoughts. The show is... fine. Not incredible, but not abhorrent. I dislike the kiddier tone with the theme of war in the Digital World, but the serious parts hit when they need to hit. My main issue comes in the anime's characterization.

One complaint I never really understood is that the Violet paradoxes "Just look like the same Pokémon but robots." Yeah, I can see it, but- The Scarlet Paradoxes just look like the same Pokémon but sharper and edgier. If I erased the tail and metal sand, that's just Magneton.

I've been keeping up with Time Stranger News and I'm thinking that the bosses that are Digimon who've gone feral and out of control are called "Titans" with a descriptor to match what the are (EX: Parrotmon was revealed today as "Titan Strange Bird"). So, here's a few theories on that.

One thing I don't like is the idea that someone doesn't "deserve redemption," because it fundamentally misses the point of how a redemption arc should work. A good redemption arc should be a moment of self-actualization for the character to look at all they have done and realize "This isn't okay."

One of my biggest hopes is that character relationships and characterization will change and stay consistent in the graphic novel. In The New Prophecy graphic novel, I'm hoping Brambleclaw isn't an insufferable jerkwad who finds people who disagree with him annoying.
