I review the investigation reports at work (legal) before they are submitted to HR. The compliance manager who writes them up shocks me every single time. I spend so much time editing…there are more track changes than original text once I’m done.

Child abuse. Both physical and emotional. No whoopings — that’s the low hanging fruit. The challenging part is the emotional side. Learning about child development gives me more patience & empathy. Also, positive reinforcement (rewards) & not just negative reinforcement (go sit in your room).
