I’m so dumb lol. I read those headlines as new crossovers got announced at ComicsPRO, and I was like “duh.” I am now seeing it’s a new MARVEL/DC crossover, which is epic. Industry icons have been begging for the chances since the JLA/AVENGERS charity reprint a few years ago.

I haven’t drank in 9 months! I didn’t fuck up or hurt anyone… Being drunk wasn’t fun and made me feel sad, so I took a break. Turns out, didn’t miss it. No judgement on anyone who parties. Gotta celebrate the little wins in between being stupid on the internet so the universe doesn’t eat me alive

I’ll never be artsy.

Meme’in and screamin.

THIS BOOK! This book hits you with waves of emotions, and as you struggle to breathe against its weight, you find tranquility as it smothers you, drowns you in waters tuned perfectly to your individuality. It becomes part of you, roots in your identity like a nerve embedded in a tooth.

I'm not familiar with @paulcornell.bsky.social 's prose, but I love his comics! The first few books of his fantasy/horror prose series are on sale on a lot of digital marketplaces.

Manwha fuckin RULES!

Checking out this Solo Leveling book I picked up forever ago. The art is rad.

Feeling pretty good about this shot. Manual mode, edited in Lightroom. Maybe I should leave my house one day and take pictures of something somewhere else…

Weirdos.

I feel less stupid and stagnant after making time for daily reading. Finding joy in prose, again, has been so refreshing as well. Shoutout to @coletalks.bsky.social for reminding me reading novels is fun as fuck. And shoutout to Fable for logging my reads and reminding me to crack a book every day.

Just crushed the 6th novel of the year.

Get off the internet and read.

Trying to work but this princess keeps crying for attention.

This was a first time read for me and is easily one of the best Batman stories I’ve ever read. Dark, brutal, and really cool to see Batman get pushed to his breaking point.

Still floored that this happened. Endlessly grateful to @colleendoran.bsky.social for this.

So pretty…

This is gonna hurt like that private student loan…

Here’s a meme.

“Stop calling people nazis” is the new slogan for hateful people you should not trust.

The best part of reading books is not worrying about comic book movies.

BRB trying to be cool on the internet.

I’ve written hundreds of comic book reviews, but I’m trying to write a couple novel reviews, and it’s different. Maybe I should lean into that. Let it be some pseudo-review blog thought piece. Writing is silly.

“Someone like me, more imagination than can fit in one body, you can die inside a fantasy of yourself.” —Rivers Solomon

Did you know the guy who wrote Saga and a storyboard artist for The Matrix made a comic about America invading Canada? Written in 2015 but timely like a Rolex, right? I wrote about it on Substack blakesbuzz.substack.com/p/big-beauti...

Been throwing my ZV-1ii in manual and seeing what happens...

Running my mouth on the internet? Who, me?

I didn't know it was Mark Waid who gave Sam the shield first! I thought it was Rick Remender. Guess I got more comics to read!

I have so many audible books from an old subscription. I’m trying to work my way through a handful I purchased forever ago. This book is rad. I’m still not sure what I think about audio books lol. But I used to think Kindles were silly, and I’m obsessed with mine now.

Imagine hating on me while I'm just in my room like this.

She’s got a hole in her ear. She got a new donut. It’s an actual giant donut. She’s ok. The flap filled with blood and fluid and they had to drain it. She doesn’t understand why she can’t wrestle her brother.

I smoked some bologna. It was a two and a half hour sandwich but totally worth it.

Buried Long, Long Ago is loosely based on the 1900s serial killer Belle Gunness. Never hear of the case? Watch this:

Always a bummer to hear how stellar books went under the radar, but there’s a good side to this: lots of you can still discover the maddeningly excellent The Brave and The Bold: Batman and Wonder Woman (there’s a hardcover)
