This is why I tried to say Tower of Guns was "mostly solo", even 10 years ago it was a slippery term. Not only did I have help, but I was also working off the backs of others by using Unreal and UDK--that's a HUGE leg up compared to say, Cave Story, Braid, and much of the prev. generation of indies.
