In the hierarchy of birds that glide along the waves, seagulls typically take the higher elevation path. Lining up with them for photos when they fly close to the water is pretty difficult and doesn’t happen often. After this frame I had to duck my head.

My camera was stuck on “AF-ON” from the 10-pin connection, half press on the faulty housing shutter button. As the swell built throughout the day, moments where the lens was stuck hunting for focus were stressful. Here are some images taken during that. Later that night, a fix #wildlife #surfing
