For those who don't know much about electronics manufacturing the process of setting up even a highly automated line (fewer workers to train) takes years. First you have to figure out the process flow and the machinery needed and get that ordered; it'll be awhile before they show up.

“Sewing your own clothes to avoid tariffs” seems like a good idea until you realize it’s very expensive, takes a ton of time, and just about every component — from fabric and thread to sewing machines — are made abroad. I do think this is a great time to learn how to mend clothes, though!

The kidney stone has been very painful today. :-( The good news is that it's almost out of me. I'm exhausted but it's all part of the process. I'm really hoping it passes soon. If not then surgery on the 11th. I appreciate all the well wishes. Y'all are amazing.
