I led USAID's operation for the 2014-15 outbreak in West Africa.
Also went to Congo with WHO to assess response at peak of the 2019 outbreak (under Trump 1).
Those were both robust USG ops.
That capacity has now been wrecked.

Whether YOU personally can pronounce it or whether you’re familiar with it means literally nothing with regard to how a chemical behaves or potential risks of exposure.

The scientific names for chemicals?
Tell scientists how molecules and atoms are arranged, because that tells us how those chemicals interact and behave.
Long names don’t mean a chemical is “bad”
Short names don’t mean a chemical is “good”

The chemical identity matters. That’s defined by the chemical formula.
The dose of a chemical matters.
The route of exposure matters.
Synthetic vitamin C? Same as vitamin C in a food.
Formaldehyde used for viral inactivation? Same as the formaldehyde your body makes.

Congress is not saving us. 47 has declared himself sole arbiter of the law, and his AG is with him on that. Lawsuits and orders are popping up left and right to push against him & Leon. They've said they don't care.
