Day 9 of #creativefebruary Photos captured & developed in-phone, square, B&W, of everyday household or workplace items - creatively. While watching the Out of Chicago ending keynote by Colleen Miniuk, I glanced at my ‘dust collectors’ silhouetted through the backlit blinds.

Day 8 of #creativefebruary All photos are captured and developed in-phone, square format, black & white, of everyday household or workplace items - creatively. Another last minute desperate attempt at creativity. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Scraping the bottom of the barrel here. lol

I submitted an abstract image for the Abstract Image Celebration at Out of Chicago LIVE! 2025, hosted by David Cobb and Adrian Klein. Thought I’d share it here too! Taken at the French Creek Marina on Vancouver Island in May, 2023.

Day 7 of #creativefebruary Photos captured & developed in-phone, square, B&W, of everyday household or workplace items. Desperate for creative ideas with an hour to spare before the end of the day, I cupped my hand around the lens of my iPhone & pushed the button. Some processing later and voila!

Day 6 of #creativefebruary Photos captured & developed in-phone, square format, B&W, of everyday household or workplace items. No work for 3 whole days! But that doesn’t mean I won’t be busy… This will be a fun ‘busy’, full of inspiration and education. Bring on Out of Chicago LIVE! 2025!!

A last shameless plug for one of the best online photography conferences out there! Out of Chicago LIVE! 2025 Starts Friday!! Over 100 real-time presentations with over 50 professional photographers. All will be recorded & replays available for an entire year! www.outofchicago.com/conference/o...

Day 5 of #creativefebruary Photos captured developed in-phone, square black & white, of everyday household or workplace items. These last 2 and next 4 days will be crazy busy. No ideas popped into my head. There’s no room. I was checking out Instagram and nothing but doom and gloom. Black out IG.

Day 4 of #creativefebruary All photos are captured and developed in-phone, square format, black & white, of everyday household or workplace items - creatively. When I run out of inspiration and time, there’s my old standby, one of the office cats. Squeaky is my muse haha. She loves the camera.

Day 3 of #creativefebruary All photos are captured and developed in-phone, square format, black & white, of everyday household or workplace items - creatively. (NO EXCUSES!) Even in the darkest room a little light changes everything. Work kitchen in the late afternoon light.

Day 2 of #creativefebruary photos will be captured and developed in-phone, square format, black & white, only of everyday household or workplace items - creatively. (And, NO EXCUSES!) Spent most of the afternoon in front of my computer- doomscrolling thru half of it. The keys say it all.

Since its World Wetland Day, I thought I'd put together a little video slideshow of some of my favorite photos from some wetlands I've visited these past 10 years.

As I said in my previous post, only 2 of my 14 days on Vancouver Island were nicely overcast. That was the 1st, this was the 2nd. I pulled over in a parking lot in Port Renfrew to check out my map app and holy moly, saw all that foggy mist in the mountains. Took one or two, hundred shots. 😁

Now I’m traveling down memory lane. During my May 2023 trip to Vancouver Island I was hoping for lots of waterfalls and forest photography, and gray overcast skies to shoot them in. Well, out of my 14 days, I had 2 with overcast skies. This was one of them. Englishman River Falls PP. 🥰

The quite famous Fairy Lake tree from Vancouver Island taken a couple of years ago. Can’t wait to visit the PNW again. The trees are majestic shrines to the past.

I jumped on the #creativefebruary bandwagon. “Officially” there are no rules, but I made my own, a photo a day, photos and edits done in-phone, square format, black & white, subject matter is plain household or workplace items - creatively! 🤷🏼‍♀️ We’ll see how it goes. My 2/1 entry.

Beautiful cypress trees reflected in the swamps of the late afternoon light. #grassywaterspreserve #westpalmbeach #cypresstrees #florida

Living on a piece of dead tree bark, without a care in the world of Tiktok, of tariffs, of bitcoins, of greed, of hatred, of war, of racism, of... Just living, breathing, and dying, becoming all that's necessary for generations of lichen, moss or sapling to live and thrive. Imagine.

Thought I would share our camera club's new account, SFNPCC. Only a few previous event photos, but hoping to share individual images from our members soon! @sfnpcc.bsky.social www.sfnpcc.org

A bit of a windy trail this past weekend with the camera club. Beautiful day, and that late afternoon light was gorgeous. #westpalmbeachflorida

Put a bit of spit and polish on a photo from last year. Fit for print! This is from an old ranch turned wildlife refuge, makes for a great place to explore. And fog was just a bonus. 🫠
