Whatcha doin? You should come hang out for the live cast of our weekly podcast about games and stuff. Maybe I'll rant about something? WHO KNOWS!? We will be live with the Blizzard Watch Podcast pre-show and show in just a few minutes! www.twitch.tv/blizzardwatch

When (if) you do log on to #WoW tonight you will be greeted by an exciting new patch trailer! (Or you can watch it here. Either way.)

The #WoW servers are now back online, but with a few stability problems. Expect some broken addons and maybe don't try to do anything too important tonight.

We're really excited to hit up Delves later today with our new companion... uh, let me check my notes here... Brann Bronzebeard. Again. welp. At least this time he's bringing the hattitude.

Shut up and D.R.I.V.E with your new souped-up hot rod in #WoW patch 11.1. We're hitting Undermine in style. If the Rihanna song is stuck in your head you have to click the link, I don't make the rules (also we might have just become best friends). blizzardwatch.com/2025/02/25/w...

Another long week is ahead of us, so we need something adorable to sustain us. This week we have an unconventional adorable pick: the platypus.

Starting tomorrow, the Kalimdor Cup returns for the next couple weeks. We have a guide (with videos!) on how to get Gold on every single track in the circuit. Start your engines! Wait, dragons don't have engines. Hang on.

This week's Tavern Watch Podcast covers the latest tabletop news, including D&D's weird 2025 schedule, the many games we're looking forward to, and the upcoming live-action D&D TV show on Netflix (what?). Listen now on the website or subscribe in your podcast player of choice!

Here's our weekly roundup of everything that's going down in the Blizzardverse, plus everything coming up next week, and all three of our weekly podcasts. It's time to put on the comfy weekend pants. We earned it, y'all.

There's a new episode of the Blizzard Watch Podcast today, and it is about everything except Warcraft (news is thin on the ground leading into next week's patch). But if you want to hear Joe's opinions on #Overwatch, you should tune in. Listen now in your podcast player of choice or on the website!

Who's watching Community Creation Con today? Tune in to watch Starfield, Fallout, and Elder Scrolls modders show off the latest mods and talk about mod-making while raising money for charity.

This week's #Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is bugged so you can only use cards from 2020's Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion, but clever players (who played in 2020) can win it without waiting for a hotfix. (I used the Warlock deck here and my opponent conceded before I even had a chance to win.)

There's a new Lore Watch Podcast this week in which Joe and Matt discuss the seemingly endless struggle between the Alliance and Horde. Can't we all just get along? Well, maybe. Listen now in your podcast player of choice, or on the website!

#Overwatch 2 Season 15 is now live with exciting new features like Perks and ... uhm ... loot boxes? That sounds weird but that's what my notes say so I'm going to go with it. (Also if anyone can tell me where to get these frog boots irl, I am listening.) blizzardwatch.com/2025/02/18/o...

Just in case you want that super sweet raven pet (and we know you do) but don't really want to spend all that time grinding (and we know you don't), the Mother's Blessing event is currently live in #Diablo4.

You're running out of time to complete your #WoW War Within Season 1 goals! Here's a rundown on what you need to wrap up before Season 2 starts in March!

It's our last episode of Tavern Watch Plays Murder on the Eberron Express D&D game! Will our party find the killer... and do they even want to? The Eberron Express is about to pull into the station, so our story is wrapping up one way or another. Listen now on your podcast platform of choice!

May I offer you a hippo in these trying times? Yes? Today is a very important day: WORLD HIPPO DAY! We are of course celebrating by watching lots of videos of hippos, both pygmy and full sized. The cuteness of these adorably round creatures is what sustains us through these cold winter months.

Every Friday, we slap together a post featuring everything we published that week, plus some reminders for next week, our podcasts, and then we rest up so we can do it all again next week. Ladies, lads, and gentlethem: it's the weekend.

If you're looking for a new game to play this weekend, we took inspiration from the holiday to highlight some unconventional indie romances — and, no, we didn't include Mass Effect so you can tell that I was not involved in the game selection. But these games are still Liz approved.

This week's Blizzard Watch Podcast covers #WoW player housing and the magnificent neighborhoods we will build, heading to Undermine in patch 11.1, and how Marvel Rivals' first season is shaping up. Listen on the website or subscribe in your podcast player of choice!

It's Valentine's Day! Just in case you forgot, we made a few Valentine's Cards with our favorite characters for you to use.

We're heading into a new raid tier, and you know what that means: it's time to rate everyone's fashion game. Here's how the #WoW Liberation of Undermine tier sets rate for style, from so good it's scary to mistakes were made.

Per @jasonschreier.bsky.social, the next #Diablo4 expansion is coming in 2026. And frankly, I don't think that's a bad thing. Or "slow down, life is to be savored" as they say in Pandaria.

We've been joking around since they announced the 6v6 trial, how they should revert #Overwatch back before the 2, and laughing about how we missed stacking all Junkrats, and loot boxes that only drop crappy sprays and blue skins. Good times. Ha ha. Our site is cursed, and we owe you an apology.

If you know anything about us, you probably know we take three things very seriously: baby animals, the oxford comma, and transmog. Learning that Brann is just as much about the hat fashion game as we are may make it a little harder to curse at him in Delves in season 2. May.

We're having some technical problems on the website today (as you may notice from the lack of post preview images), and were in the middle of troubleshooting that when Blizzard announced the #WoW patch 11.1 release date. You're welcome. (Site fixes still tbd, though.)

With official word that #WoW patch 11.1 Undermine(d) is releasing February 25, we wrote up a handy guide to the things you should prioritize finishing, if you're the completionist type. (by the way, patch 11.1 is releasing February 25!)

Phase 4 of #CataClassic comes out next week. This is the era of the End Time dungeons and the Dragon Soul raid. Have fun on Spine of Deathwing (and maybe keep a trash can close if you get motion sick).

If you're stepping into Naxxramas in #WoWClassic Season of Discovery, it's important to know the interaction between your Seal of Dawn and Sanctified Gear. I mean, if you like gearing up and improving your damage and all that. Some people might not. No judgement if you're fine with Judgement.

We now have a release date for the #Daggerheart #TTRPG! It ships on May 20, so you probably want to start testing to find your luckiest d12 right now.

This week's Cute column is one of the cutest yet, featuring the new baby Malayan tapir over at @ptdefiancezoo.bsky.social. We didn't know baby tapirs make little chirps like a bird in addition to being squishably adorable, so now clearly we can't do any more work today while we binge these videos.

Our D&D murder mystery continues with what Joe calls "more than a little sass" and I call "derailing all of my plans," but it will all work out in the end. (Probably.) You can now listen to part 2 of our Murder on the Eberron Express game in your podcast player of choice, or on the website.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... to catch up on the crush of news from the past week. (Frankly, we write these roundups to help ourselves keep up, but they may be useful to you, too.)

If you're looking for something to play this weekend, the recent game release schedule is pretty packed. Here's our advice on great new releases to play this weekend — but I'm personally ignoring most of this to play Citizen Sleeper.

Who's ready to join me in crumbling into dust on a Friday afternoon? Because in the latest Blizzard Watch Podcast, I regret to inform you that Blizzard Watch is now 10 years old. Also there was some news, I guess? (Though as is typical, the player housing announcement came after we recorded.)

We have a lot of unanswered questions about Player Housing in #WorldofWarcraft. Mine is, if my neighbor chooses decor that does not go with my wholesome cottagecore floral aesthetic, do I still have to look at the smoldering ruin after I burn their house down? We demand answers, Blizzard.

Hey, there's a new Lore Watch this week! (And also we're all just a little unhinged.)

If you asked me in vanilla whether I would ever be in league with the Venture Company, I would have laughed. (And maybe cried a little.) But in patch 11.1, you get to pick which Goblin cartel to befriend, and that includes the Venture Company. Here's what we know about our new cartel friends.
