Here is the first in a planned series of article commentaries in Experimental Hematology @isehsociety.bsky.social - thanks to @challenlab.bsky.social and @lindemileslab.bsky.social! www.exphem.org/article/S030...

What an interesting read...did you know that Developmental Hematopoiesis pioneer Elaine Dzierzak was also an artist? Read on to learn more in a recent issue of Experimental Hematology! The developmental clock: where art and science meet - Experimental Hematology www.exphem.org/article/S030...

Absolute pleasure to chat with those two brilliant scientists! Do yourself a favour and have a look at their preprints! #hemesky

I failed a billing audit this week and it was like I had left the new coversheets off of my TPS reports #medicaladministrativestate

We are very proud of this new content spearheaded by @alessandrodonada.bsky.social! Our lab is very grateful to Alessandro for highlighting our two recent preprints.

@isehsociety.bsky.social community: if you’re interested in HSC research in humans then this is a must read from leaders in the field. www.exphem.org/article/S030...

Look at that, a trifecta of ISEH member preprints @bloodandtime.bsky.social @dorrancelab.bsky.social @kentlab.bsky.social biorxiv.org/content/earl... biorxiv.org/content/earl... biorxiv.org/content/earl...

Here's a new preprint from our group. This manuscript continues our efforts to understand the mechanisms that distinguish fetal/juvenile versus adult hematopoiesis to better understand pediatric blood diseases. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Early morning swimming in the cold at Stanford.

I really enjoy putting those together, please if you see your preprint in this list do not hesitate to get in touch! #hemesky 🔬🩸

Winter break is good for catching up on some reading 😉! #ISEH #SimplyBlood @isehsociety.bsky.social

Interesting mechanistic work on reticular dysgenesis from my former colleague Dr Weinacht @bloodjournal.bsky.social ashpublications.org/blood/articl...

Our latest work is now available to read on bioRxiv! Very proud of this and its potential implications for patients with acute myeloid leukemia 🩸 🧪 🔬💊 **eIF4A-mediated translation initiation as an AML cell vulnerability that can be co-targeted with BCL-2 inhibition** www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

We are very proud of this new resource for the community. Thanks @alessandrodonada.bsky.social for leading this initiative!

This paper still irritates me - harvesting marrow from one-day-old neonates (human!) www.cell.com/developmenta...

Hey all you #ASH24 people. You need to look at this new paper in @naturemethods.bsky.social by Heme extraordinaires Grant Rowe and the Bluesky-less #HojunLi. A paper that looks at Blood & Time from @bloodandtime.bsky.social himself! #scRNAseq #bioinformatics 🧬 💻 www.nature.com/articles/s41...

The nice thing about the jet lag is that I can watch Dr Ambros's Nobel lecture #ASH24

My #ASH24 is getting shorter by the minute. Sitting on the tarmac in Boston for the past two hours...

On your way to #ASH24🩸? Here is something to read for the road ;)

The other side of what I do - one of my favorite patients: answers.childrenshospital.org/diamond-blac...

Just in time for #ASH24, our latest paper is out. We performed scRNA-seq on HSPCs over human development, maturation, and postnatal aging. We looked at dynamics of HSPC subsets, lineage biases, HSC level priming, and identified a developmentally restricted human HSC. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

This is a great review. We hope to present our own contribution to this field very soon.

Don't miss our lab's big story at #ASH24. We are hoping to rewrite some major paradigms with this one.
