Quake 1 is the best game ever made. Yes that includes games that aren't video games. Listen to the soundtrack before and during playing the game. And if you get the impression "it doesn't look good" keep in mind that there's ways to easily make it burn your GPU and be worth it

Here's something that's going to rub sports fans the wrong way... A person isn't defined by the team they cheer for. They are defined by their own actions, inactoons, and words. Not by the players on a team they're cheering for, in a game they don't even bother participating in themselves.
