The D.C. Circuit ruled at 8:07 p.m. The deadline was 11:59 p.m. The plaintiffs hadn’t even responded yet. I understand that everyone’s dander is up about … everything. But there’s nothing sinister about a two-day pause so #SCOTUS can actually review the arguments. The key is what happens on Friday.
