Sometimes I like to look at the au ra concept art and think of what could have been. Astrid would've been an au ra if they looked more like this. Especially if they were taller, like midlander or fem viera height. She could be a fuzzy little dragon girl (ears look covered in slight fur?)

I pick what I want/what I think fits each specific character. Sellenei and Estelle are 'basic' with only a few non-cc additions. Astrid has much more alterations, scales from draconic heritage. There's just a lot of unexplored cool ideas in ffxiv that we fans must needs exploit!

I really hate that when I sketch completely digitally it never looks as good as my traditional sketches. Yet the former is easier to do than the latter for me. And lining over traditional sketches is a weird hassle for me. It ends up looking worse than digital only sketching. Idk what's wrong
