What the Falcons need to do for Defense: 1. We need a good young DL (2 depending on Judon and Onyemata) 2. Our linebackers need some better depth. (We have Gems like Ellis, Landman, and Ebikete. We need to fill some gaps) 3. We have 3 really good CBs in Alford, Terrell Jr, and Phillips. Need to add

I think this is the best maneuver they could do. He's proven he can still play (i.e. the start of the season), but can't keep playing for excessive weeks on end (five weeks 1 TD 9 int). He is still an extremely knowledgeable player and a good influence to have around Penix as he starts his career.
