I've had this on my reading list for several years and finally read it. (It became an unexpected Lenten discipline for me, which was a real gift.) What a poignant and profound book. I am so grateful for her voice. Making a thread of some quotes I'll be chewing on for awhile.

Whenever they walk into our church on Sundays my 3 yo and 5 yo have started, unprompted, to dip their fingers into the water of the baptismal font and mark the sign of the cross on their foreheads. It makes my heart so happy. 🥹
