Politicians of every persuasion who abuse their power, dishonor their people and nation, and seek to appropriate unapproved authority to themselves, must quickly be subject restraint. Civilized societies must apply firm sanctions, and fiercely punish these reprobate who display such tendencies.

Values have now been reversed. A felon is President, incompetence and ignorance elevated. The rule of law is corrupted from the top. Government means people gaining access and power to benefit themselves. The United States is the most divided since the Civil War. The world is leaderless, and adrift.

The danger posed by an administration which seeks to elevate racism, while being ignorant of history is alarming. America seem hellbent on self destruction. The move to fire or expel high rankings officers from the military, particularly melanated folk, may turn out to be a gift to BRICS.

This is the most exhausting month of a new Administration. Many who voted for this were unprincipled, but craved a better standard of living, never mind injustices. Others are invested in bad faith desired outcomes. The country is ready for leadership that is responsive to the needs of the people.

The urgency of the moment must be acknowledged and stated. The norms which once dictated our discourse and our political behavior has been discarded by MAGA. Its time for past presidents, VPs and Attorneys Generals to oppose unconstitutional utterances and actions, which they swore to uphold.

You get the impression the MAGA key players are not only evil, but laughing in our faces, with Trump referring to himself as king. We know history is not their thing, but they must be reminded that the last vicious egotistic fascist didn't leave office by loosing an election.

Aside from sheer agony, this period represents a lesson in the utility of principles and values. When many purposely voted against their interests, some for groceries, some for revenge, some for racial grievances, all of us lose. I don't believe we fully appreciate the whats at stake.

We are at the point now where one has to be really slow not to determine who the joke is on. Who stands to win and who to lose. Over the next six months the world will face the chaos we're seeing here. Yes, we must resist. Luigi Mangione's approach may be wrong, but he determined who should win.

Through it all, embrace love and hope.

The disunity between Americans is its kryptonite. Many reasons are attributable. The main ones are: *Dis & misinformation *Racism and hate. *Voter suppression *Apathy *Ignorance (willful) *Blind rage against the system and desire to blow it up. *Destiny We may have succeeded in blowing it up.

No one who is paying attention to the direction we're heading, and the main actors responsible can have hope in a positive outcome. Its time for all the previous Presidents to lend their voices in opposition to these undemocratic/unconstitutional utterances and undertakings. So should the last VP.

A President of the most influential country, with the most lethal military force, who simultaneously is the most thin skin and petty person, must pose a danger to himself and his country. Hillary Clinton once said he can be baited with a tweet. The people require a better example of leadership.

Is there anyone who thinks that this going to end well? Between the illegality, corruption, and abuse of power, normality and constitutional adherence will have to be wrestled back from this administration.

Suffering is setting in, and its going to be more painful throughout this administration. Why? If one looks at the results of the exit polls the question is. Which groups or race in rank support morality, decency, principles, lawful practices, and the constitution. Principles lost to egg prices.

Please be reminded - 1. When you side with the 1% against yourself, we all suffer. 2. When you have no empathy humanity suffers. 3. When we choose to elevate isolationist ideas over inclusivity the country and economy suffer. 4. When ignorance is the basis of policy we all brutally suffer.

Right now Latinos are acknowledging the fact of self inflicting harm. The rest of America most acknowledge the plague unleashed by electing a felon, a rapist, an amoral creature, a corrupt criminal, a white supremacist to oversee the democratic experiment which is supposed to be an example to all.

This new administration personifies cruelty, incompetence, reckless endangerment, moral decadence, and evil. Nothing good will come of the government or the country until they are gone. The few who will enrich themselves and benefit, are the ones

It is very curious how the continent responsible for words like colonialism and imperialism, has now embraced words and titles like nativist and nationist.

I used to struggle to understand how intelligent people would just ignore the obvious ominous signs, globally as well as domestically everywhere. Its clear now that sobriety is not a widely accepted coping strategy. Choices range from soft and hard drugs, to religion, to outright ignoring problems.

It seem we are unable to deal with multiple urgent issues at once, or to prioritize them. There is no shortage of up to the minute news and data. The way news media and politicians react is, you can have an ongoing war, and genocide, yet they will be eclipsed by matters that pale in importance.

Global conflict and economic malaise are setting in. The West is in problems. Its not going to matter who is in the White House, but who is there will determine how it is handled. The root causes are multiple, but top of list are undemocratic practices, and income inequalities.

During the last Trump administration the strength of institutions, and guardrails, were severely tested. It bearly held up. We saw that for the line of defense to hold, it required 'good men'. People like Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman comes to mind. This time we have lackeys and scared placeholders.

Just wondering how the world, and nature in particular is mostly peaceful, but humanity seem to be mostly in conflict. Moreso, how the dumbest and vilest among us gets to set the stage for so much stress.

If you are among those triggered by misinformed notions of transgender , and 'woke' (which is simply a euphemism for enlightenment), and your response is to blow up the system, your mental health is waning. Civics is missing from school curriculum, but adult are more in need of it.

A visual image of being between a rock and a (the deep blue sea) hard place. Yet the human mine is such that we can see beauty. No wonder religion is attractive to so many.

Unless the Democrats and true independent thinkers snap out of the unreversible reality, and begin to reorganize, restructure, rejuvenate, resist, and prepare to replace the change is going to be permanent.

Just making an historical note of the time in the world when fear, misinformation, grievance, and just racist tendencies caused a nation to use the price of eggs, bread and milk to choose misogyny and racism over character, conspiracy theories over facts, authoritarianism over democracy.

Three of the most common emotional factors we face presently are anxiety, stress and fear. While hope and faith has served humanity as a coping tool, the ultimate fix is for a majority  of us to chart a new way forward, guided by true democracy.  One that is not diluted or rigged by billionaires.
