Unfollowed an artist I love today because they have a habit of putting a quip in alt text, a joke about the image, without describing the image. That feels like a double slap in the face of anyone who can't see the image. Not only don't they know what the image is but they can't get the joke either.

If you're someone who didn't have many friends and got bullied as a kid/teenager and now you're an author, I think one weird brain flip hurdle can be psyching yourself up that yes, people would want to read your book. Your book is great because of you and your talent and voice, not despite you.
