oh i totally agree with the longevity aspect! i’ve seen it in iphones (which i use) and i do think macs are great for work! however they’re not suitable for gaming. windows laptops are good for both work + gaming which i meant in my first post but im stupid and definitely didn’t word it well lol 💀

like $799 for you is 1600+ bucks for me. my laptop cost 1450 BGN when i bought it and currently sits at about 1150 BGN. this is what we get in my country for reference :)

think it also depends on what part of the world u live in. in my country ALL apple products are expensive bc of the currency exchange (i say this as an iphone user). on the contrary non apple tech is almost always 2-3 times cheaper than apple & u still get the performance u need if that makes sense😅

unpopular opinion probably but macbooks are way too overpriced considering a gaming laptop gives you so much more for like half the price of a mac 😭 my laptop is lenovo ideapad gaming 3, amd ryzen 5 nvidia gtx 1650ti 8gm ram and over 3 years later it is still a beast
