So exciting to still see new designsystemchecklist.com contributions. This time we’ve received a Korean language translation 🙌

13 story files left to rewrite out of ~70 and I think I finally figured out how I want to structure them after some back and forth. I guess I'll just have to rewrite them one at a time every time I'm changing anything in a component.

To improve INP on two pages (estimated save: 200K$/year), with less than 3 months available, tons of data, a dedicated team, and complete freedom, we improved Preply Next.js application's INP! medium.com/preply-engin... 👇

Your outie's components don't get detached

Do I know someone using react native day to day? Tell me what you think is the hardest part of it which you didn’t know about while watching tutorials and reading docs but learned on the job 👀

My Divider component has more tests than ContextMenu, what am I doing wrong? 😅

Storybook test is probably the longest migration I had to do for Reshaped since it affects all my tests. Half-way there but it's totally worth it with all tests running in the same environment (no separate jest or vitest files) and it actually led me to writing tests covering even more edge cases.

@figma.com has released a new aspect ratio feature and my favorite part is that you can use it within components. For example, your Image component can use it automatically for the variants with predefined ratio but then library users can enable it manually wherever they need it too 🚀

Probably if ai generated code was added as node_modules packages - developers wouldn’t even notice

Just updated the Reshaped <> Tailwind integration to work with Tailwind v4. Theming CLI now also generates a css @theme definition which is automatically linked to all semantic css variables defined by the Reshaped themes 💪 reshaped.so/docs/getting...

While I’m flying back - go get a reshaped.so pro license for your team 💪

Last checkpoint for the trip ⛳️

Starting with some hooks and utilities before I move any of the components. This includes focus trap and dropdown positioning though 👀

Finally created a repo and moved the first hook to the headless @reshaped/core 👀

Am I too obsessed with the series? 😅

@figma.com can we please mark one of the color variables as "default" for text so it's applied automatically instead of #000? 🙏

Super enjoyable to design and build apps that are basically the same screen with a panel-based layout where navigation just shifts the panels and animates their content. Added some slide-in navigation just now in Figma 🙌.

A new screen for project goals, quite simple and minimalistic. Write things down when planning and add tasks right from the screen or tag ad-hoc tasks while working, keep notes and generate summaries when completed 🙌

Are there any accounts here just posting nice UI shots all the time for inspiration?

Changing the task status and leaving a note about what's blocking it 👀

I hope design engineering becomes the norm and instead of working on perfect components and annotations, we'll use design tools for quickly visualizing ideas and keep a lot in our heads. For example, I've designed this screen and there are many details only I know about how it should behave.
